Jay Q

Jay Q joined us as an apprentice over 6 years ago specialising in Blackwork, and he well and truly deserves to be the amazing tattoo artist he is now! Jay put everything into his apprenticeship and has a very strong passion for the tattoo industry, which he displayed in his training.

He is extremely talented in the art of Gothic Blackwork, a skill that he’s developed over the many years with us. Jay is able to transform any piece to fit each and every client, guaranteed 100% happiness every single time! He really enjoyed pushing himself to develop and learn new skills within the realm of Blackwork.

Jay loves the trust his clientele has in him, as just from his portfolio you can see that he’s given ample amounts of creative control as they know he will give a mind-blowing result every time. Some of the reasons behind this trust and loyalty is his positive approach, meticulous focus on detail and the ability to fulfil personal expectations.

Jay spends hours unpaid working out of hours to fine-tune his craft and designs for each client, often spending the majority of his evenings (and late nights) perfecting everything he possibly can for the next day. His communication level with his customers is exceptional, which allows him to gauge his client’s needs, wishes and personality to create a truly bespoke design that has never been seen before. Jay’s work and dedication creates an experience like no other, leaving both customers and us massively impressed with every day he’s in (and out!) of the studio.
