Alex started his relationship with Skins and Needles as a guest artist over 7 years ago, and moved into a resident spot with us over 6 years ago.

His love and passion for not only the tattoo industry but for the Teesside area led Alexandru to move to the UK to follow his career further with us, which is something we’re in awe of!

He specialises in both Black & Grey, & Colour Realism, however, Alexandru’s versatility allows him to create outstanding pieces in different styles. His contrast between dark, bold realism, & more delicate, colour work is astonishing! Throughout his career, we’ve watched him develop into an extremely detailed and talented artist, and we are excited to see how he progresses even more in the future.

Alexandru’s warm and welcoming personality makes all of his customers at ease, with the majority sitting through full-day sittings for concept designs created bespoke for each client. This is something he loves to do, and he also loves a challenge for a theme he’s never tackled before!
