Adam Hawkes has been with us since the very beginning. of Skins & Needles. With over 16 years of talented experience in the tattooing industry, Adam has more than grown into his position as a resident artist and is a valued longstanding member of the team.
Specialising in Realism, he’s a self-taught artist who is able to comfortably switch up his game and work in various different styles, providing top class results every time. Whether he’s working in Black and Grey or Colour, working on a large scale canvas, creating bespoke pieces or concept art, Adam loves the creativity and freedom that tattooing gives him. PS: Adam is a master of cover ups too!
Adam’s favourite part of the job is ‘meeting new people and working with their ideas to produce a creative design’, he also said that he gets his inspiration from ‘working around so many great artists’. Adam loves that Skins and Needles gives him the opportunity to truly hone is talents and gives him the creativity he desires.
Adam has an extremely loyal fanbase and is popular with his clientele, which is clear by his current 6-8 month waiting list – but his clients do say that he’s worth the wait!
